Services Scope

Local Dumpster Pros provides roll-off dumpster rentals for residential and commercial projects. Our standard service covers delivery, placement, pickup, and disposal of general construction debris, household junk, yard waste, and non-hazardous materials. Containers are available in 10-, 20-, 30-, and 40-yard sizes. Street placement requires a right-of-way or encroachment permit from the local public works department. Many municipalities cap container occupancy on public streets at 3 to 7 days before renewal fees apply. Containers placed in the public right-of-way must have reflective tape, cones, or barricades per local traffic codes. Some states require a licensed hauler registration number on the container for DOT compliance. Asbestos, paint, and hazardous waste are prohibited under federal RCRA rules. Shingle disposal may be subject to state-level recycling mandates. HOA covenants may restrict dumpster visibility and placement duration. Any service outside this scope, such as special waste handling or extended placement, requires a separate written agreement.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments are scheduled by phone or email. Delivery windows are typically same-day or next-day, depending on route density and driver availability. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled delivery may incur a $75 fee. Changes to container size or placement location must be approved at least 12 hours in advance. If the driver arrives and the drop spot is blocked or inaccessible, a return trip fee may apply. Swap-out service and final pickup are scheduled at the time of booking. Extensions beyond the original rental period are subject to daily overage fees. Property managers and contractors should confirm that the job site can accommodate the container dimensions and weight before scheduling.

Estimates and Payment

Quotes are based on container size, estimated weight, rental days, and placement location. A typical 10-yard residential cleanout runs $250–$450, while a 20-yard construction container is $350–$650. Payment is due at the time of booking unless other arrangements are made. If the actual weight exceeds the allowance, overage charges apply. Street permit fees ($25–$100) are the renter’s responsibility. Scope changes after delivery, such as upgrading to a larger container or extending the rental, require written approval and may adjust the final price. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and cash. A valid phone number and email are required to confirm the order.

Workmanship Warranty

Local Dumpster Pros warrants that our equipment is in good working order and that we will place and remove the container as agreed. We will lay down plywood under the roll-off skids to protect driveways and surfaces. Coverage is void if the customer overfills the container past the fill line, loads prohibited materials, or relocates the container without authorization. If the driver damages a driveway due to failure to use plywood, we will repair or compensate for the damage. This warranty does not cover pre-existing cracks or damage. Claims must be reported within 48 hours of pickup. Misuse, such as mixing concrete with general trash, voids any coverage and may result in a sorting surcharge.

Liability Limits

Our liability is limited to the total cost of the service provided. We are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or landscaping unless caused by our driver’s negligence. Street placement requires the renter to obtain the proper right-of-way or encroachment permit from the local public works department. We are not liable for fines or code violation notices resulting from failure to secure permits. If the container is placed on a public street, the renter assumes responsibility for traffic control and reflective markings as required by local codes. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, or landfill closures. Any claim must be filed within 30 days of the service date.
